Full bleed tab dividers allow more room for your creativity due to our full bleed capability. You can design your tabs for both the front and the back. You have 3 lamination choices available.

CUT DIVIDER SHEETS
Continue your branding and image all the way through your binder with custom cut sheets. Cut sheets are a great option for a cover page with introductory information about your binder content. This can be the first thing that someone sees after opening your custom binder.
If you don’t like the tab extension but want to make it easier to navigate through your materials, cut sheets are your best choice! They can be used just like tab dividers to separate the different sections of your content, but do not have the extensions a regular tab divider would have.

OFFSET
This set of tab dividers, designed by Handshoe Design Collective for Small Nation / BUILD uses a bank of 8 standard tab dividers. In order to match the print of their pocket folders, another component to their kit “Build what you love”, these tabs were offset printed using their two PMS colors.
FULL BLEED – SHORT RUN
The Children’s Hunger Fund created these digitally printed tab dividers with standard tab extensions to complete their compact binder project. The tabs come in a bank of 6 to fit into the half sheet binder. A unique feature is the order of these tabs which are from the bottom to the top.
STANDARD – SHORT RUN
Marra Construction created these Mylar-reinforced standard tab dividers to organize the information in their binder pertaining to home buyers “My New Home”. The tabs show a bank of 8 tabs, digitally printed, three hole drilled and collated.
CUT SHEETS
These cut sheets were designed by Foster Group for Strategic America as part of a binder project. The tab sheets are offset printed and decorated with spot gloss UV to match the beautiful binder. Soft touch lamination adds the same tactile feature to the tabs as can be experienced on the binder.
HALF MOON TABS
The playful design of the BCI Burke binder and pocket folder set is completed with these offset printed tab dividers. The half-moon shaped tab extensions work perfectly with the circular shape of the die-cuts in their binder and folder. The tabs are a bank of 8 and laminated with soft touch.
CUSTOM TAB EXTENSIONS
When Via Inc created these tab dividers, they were not looking for a standard solution. We were able to design a custom shaped tab extension that ties in with the printed circle pattern on the tab. The tab extension is printed in bright orange, creating a full circle visual as a fun design effect.
COMPACT TABS
Tab dividers are not limited to standard 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet sizes. These half-sheet tab dividers by The Soul Sisterhood fit their compact binder perfectly. Each tab is digitally printed in a different color, creating a fun contrast to the bare board interior of their binder.
TABS WITH CUT SHEET
The Home Dwelling Kit by Minder is divided into two main sections and five segments within each. We created a set of tab dividers with two banks of 5 tabs and 2 cut sheets. The cut sheets function as an introductory cover page for each segment. The whole set was offset printed to ensure color consistency throughout.
MULTIPLE BANKS
When you have a lot of content to organize, we do recommend splitting your tabs into more than one bank. Martin Health System‘s tabs, which were designed by Geminye Design Group, use two banks of four tabs each instead of one bank of eight. This allows for more room to label the tab extensions.
Tab Details
While tab dividers are sometimes referred to as an accessory product of your binder, you should still know the variety of determining factors when creating your tabs. Here are some things you need to think about:
How are you planning to divide your content? The amount of tabs needed determines how many tabs you need in a bank and possibly how many banks you need in each set of tabs. A bank refers to a single row of tabs running the full length of the sheet, normally along the longer side of the sheet, from the top to the bottom of a binder. A bank of 4 consists of 4 tabs with extensions in different positions. A bank of 8 consists of 8 tabs. If your projects requires a larger number of tabs, it is advisable to look into creating more than one bank of tabs in each set. A set is the total number of tabs needed per unit.
Let’s also look at the parts of a tab divider. What extension shape are you wanting for your tabs? The extension of a tab divider is the part that extends out past the regular sheet. This allows for the tab copy to be visible so you can identify the sections of your content. A standard tab extension sticks out 1/2″ from the sheet. Tab extensions are available in a standard rectangular shape with rounded corners, half-moons or custom shapes.

Looking for something more than standard? This round shape adds interest to your brand. Each tab is 1/2″ extension. Half-moon tabs are only available in offset and can be printed one side or both.
The classic rectangular tab design is always a popular choice. Each tab has rounded corners to eliminate bending and extends 1/2″ from the divider page. They can be printed full bleed digitally or offset.
