Lamination is an integral part of offset printed products. Unlike liquid protective coatings, such as varnish, aqueous or UV coating, film lamination actually reinforces the paper, providing superior durability.
Lamination is applied to printed sheets in a continuous piece. It is not possible to "spot laminate", but if you wish to achieve this look, we can apply a spot gloss UV coating over the top of the film lamination. The results are impressive! Your Sales Representative will be happy to send you a swatch book showing lamination finishes.
- Film lamination stretches, eliminating litho crack on spines and score lines.
- Reinforces paper and adds strength.
- Available in several finishes for all Corporate Image products.
