1 > Prepress
The first stop on the journey from design to binder. Files are checked for
proper placement and preparation.
2 > Proofing
Once files have passed inspection, a proof is produced for the client’s
signature before the job can be printed. After a proof has been approved,
printing plates are prepared.
3 > Printing
Experienced operators using technologically advanced equipment produce
beautiful printing that meets and exceeds our client’s high standards.
4 > Laminating
Completed press sheets are film laminated to protect the ink and add
strength and durability.
5 > Casemaking
Laminated and trimmed sheets are automatically applied to binders
board. Corners are neatly turned. First, the binder covers are applied,
then the liners.
6 > Flexing
A spine is created in the finished binder case. Computer-controlled
machines know just how many scores and grooves to create to form the
desired spine size and style. Multiple scores create round spines.
7 > Ringing
Rings are riveted into the case and the FlexHinge Binder is complete.
