Corporate Image is FSC Certified! What does this mean?

FSC, the Forest Stewardship Council, an independent non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. Products carrying the FSC logo are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.

We are committed to production practices that reduce waste, reduce emissions and help conserve our natural resources. FSC certification signifies that Corporate Image shares the public concern about the state of the world’s forests and timber resources. It shows that Corporate Image complies with the highest social and environmental standards related to the management of the world’s forest resources. FSC certification provides our customers with a simple solution to the complex environmental and social issue of forest management. Our customers can now choose to specify that their presentation materials are made with FSC certified papers, supporting good forestry practices, water resource management and the communities located near forests.

The Forest Stewardship Council

• Prohibits conversion of natural forests or other habitat around the world.
• Prohibits the use of highly hazardous pesticides around the world.
• Prohibits the cultivation of genetically modified trees (GMOs), respects the right of indigenous peoples around the world.
• Controls each certified operation at least once a year.
